The British video games company The Creative Assembly has finally begun releasing successful strategy games of the Total War series for Linux. The first title that was published recently is Empire: Total War.
CodeWeavers, the software company behind Wine, has released CrossOver 14, a software for easy running Windows applications on Linux and Mac OS X. The new version is full of new features and comes in time to the 10th anniversary of Ubuntu, as 10 years ago Mark Shuttleworth announced Ubuntu 4.10 "Warty Warthog", the first version of Ubuntu.
After releasing Borderlands 2 for Linux shortly, the developers continued with the next title of the game series, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
